My studio is big enough to accommodate 8 people. Also, there are 5 large windows for very good circulation.
***VACCINATION PROOF and FACE MASKS REQUIRED!
And very exciting news-The Guild Art store has moved into my building! Materials/class packets can be bought directly through the store (at a discount) and ready for you the 1st day of class. Information will be provided upon registration.
LATE FALL WORKSHOPS
Painting Fog in November
Morning Class
“Fog in the Hills”
In this workshop, students will construct a landscape painting using the painting shown as a reference in acrylic paint on canvas. There will be discussion of how to mix infinite colors from a limited palette, how to get certain effects with various brushes, how to make a painting “sing” using color theory. Demonstration by the artist will allow students to follow along step-by-step. By the end of the workshop, students will be able to bring home a beautiful finished painting. There may also be time at the end of the session for some more experimental painting using some other techniques.
Dates: November 9–December 7
Class Times: TUESDAYS: 10am–12:30pm
Tuition: $295
Price does not include materials; I will give you a supply list upon registration.
BONUS: The class now includes a video link to a pre-recorded class on Zoom. So, if you need to miss a class, you can make it up by watching the video at home!

No experience necessary! Unleash your creative self and start that brush going! In this workshop you will learn to paint shadows on snow. This is a step-by-step class, in which you will follow along with the teacher and come home with a finished painting. Participants will build their painting skills in a supportive and fun environment, giving them a foundation to continue on their artistic journey.
